Council Requirements and Approvals

CK Homes are different to most other manufacturers of modular transportable homes, we have experience in having our modular housing approved through local councils throughout NSW and can offer advice and solutions where most others cannot.

As building and construction is getting more and more expensive, many people are looking for alternative housing options that offer a simple and cheaper alternative to having a granny flat or home built by a builder. Whist having our homes approved by council might add a significant cost here at CK homes we are willing to offer our experience to make the process as easy as possible.

In NSW, where council permits, you may be able to go through an approval process called a section 68, this process can be confusing for people as not all homes can pass the requirements to meet the standards of a manufactured home.
